A drinking game for people who take drinking games seriously.
Inspired by titans of elaborate fictional drinking games such as New Girl’s "True American" and How I Met Your Mother’s "Marshgammon," Mattgammon (tentative name) is a drinking board game developed by and for twenty-somethings looking to leave their inhibitions at the door.
Roll the dice, spin the wheel, and draw cards from a deck containing over 200 uniquely unhinged challenges and game-altering new rules. Mattgammon is designed from the ground up to be an experience that constantly keeps players on their toes.
Mattgammon has been in development as a side project for several years, after creator and Lehigh University student Matthew McClain decided it would be fun to create an elaborate drinking game for his friends to play. The game immediately became a hit among friends, and after many rounds of revisions, Mattgammon is ready for the public to test out.
Mattgammon is already completely playable, but needs further polish informed by player feedback before its final release. If you're interested in being one of the first to play Mattgammon before it comes out, simply click the button below to sign up to playtest. You’ll be asked to provide your contact information and indicate when you might be interested in playtesting the game.
At some point after you sign up, you’ll be contacted to get you set up with a prototype version of the game for you to try out with your friends and provide feedback. If you live in the Los Angeles area, you may be provided with a kit you can borrow and test for a few days, but if not, feel free to sign up anyways to test out the game with the version of the game built for remote playtesters.
